This immersive living history program is set in spring 1776, a tumultuous period in Lewes' past. The program recreates the atmosphere of Lewes during the early months of the American Revolution and highlights the experiences of those both in town and at sea. In addition to historically attired interpreters, our main campus comes to life with demonstrations including an 18th-century century spring pole lathe, historic cricket matches, and colonial-era spirits at Sussex Tavern, making this a must-attend event!
