Amanda Gorman, the first National Youth Poet Laureate, became well known for her poem, The Hill We Climb, read at President Biden’s inauguration. This poem, Change Sings, is a children’s anthem for the 21st century. Using a musical motif, Amanda taps into the natural exuberance of children and creates an all-inclusive experience for her audience.
