The Lewes Historical Society offers educational opportunities for everyone.

Field trips for grades K-12 to our campus buildings, such as the 1898 Midway Schoolhouse, the 1850s Old Doctor’s Office, and the Thompson Country Store, are available with advanced reservations April through October.

Visitation to the Lewes History Museum and the historic Cannonball House's War of 1812 exhibit are available year round and is included in the tour. (Please check specific building times and dates in advance of arrival for openings.)

Cost is based on a per student rate of $5 payable in advance (no cash exchanged at this time) and space and availability are limited. Parents, teachers, and chaperones are admitted at no charge. For the safety and comfort of classmates and the integrity of our historic sites and museums, larger groups will be divided into 15 students per group, with individual docents leading each.
