Historic Lewes will be entering a new chapter at the Lewes History Museum in 2025 as we begin to curate and reinterpret many of the exhibitions at the museum to better reflect our maritime heritage. With a very defined focus this space will become a regional destination while appealing to our local audience. Furthermore, the museum will have direct connections through exhibitions and programming with our other Historic Lewes assets. As such, the Lewes History Museum will be closed for the duration of 2025 so that we can begin this crucial work, thanks to the generous support of the MaRan Foundation.
