History Happy Hour: "The History of the Lewes Quarantine Station"

Friday, July 31, at 4:00pm, at Hotel Rodney: Shawn Heacock presents "The History of the Lewes Quarantine Station"

These events are free, but- new this year- a pass per person is required for admission since seating is limited. Passes are available at the Ryves Holt House Museum Gift Shop at the corner of Second and Mulberry Streets beginning at 3:00pm (an hour in advance) on lecture days.

2015 Antiques Show

The Lewes Historical Society is celebrating the 52nd Anniversary of its Outdoor Antiques Show on August 1, 2015, at the Lewes Historic Campus at Second and Shipcarpenter Streets in beautiful downtown Lewes. The show begins at 9:00am and lasts until 4:00pm, general admission is $5.00, and children under 12 are free. The proceeds benefit the Society and are used in educational and preservation programming.

The Lewes Vintage Base Ball Club plays August 8- Home vs. Elkton Eclipse (2:00pm)

"Take Me Out to the Ball Game!"

The Lewes Historical Society is proud to be the home of the Lewes Vintage Base Ball Club, a member of the Mid-Atlantic Vintage Base Ball League and the Vintage Base Ball Association.  It is an educational program of the Society, designed to tell the story of baseball in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and demonstrates the history of social and athletic life in Lewes.
