Lewes Tulip Celebration: Sweet & Sketching Spring Sampling

While visiting downtown Lewes during the Lewes Tulip Celebration, stop by The Lewes Historical Society Campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street, between 12pm-3pm, for a children’s educational activity, Sketching and Sweet Spring Sampling.

From 1pm-3pm, inside of the Burton-Ingram House, children of all ages will have the opportunity to visit the parlor room of the home to learn about traveling painters and still life art.

The Lewes Historical Society is proud to be the home of the Lewes Vintage Base Ball Club, a member of the Mid-Atlantic Vintage Base Ball League and the Vintage Base Ball Association.  It is an educational program of the Society, designed to tell the story of baseball in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and demonstrates the history of social and athletic life in Lewes.
