Exhibit: The Wireless: Lewes & the Dawn of the Electronic Age

In 1906 the U.S Navy completed the installation of a Wireless Station on Cape Henlopen. Located near the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, the station occupied an abandoned fog signal station.The wireless station was equipped with a wireless system from the Massie Wireless Telegraph Company. This exhibit looks back at Lewes in 1906 and showcases a replica of the Massie Wireless Telegraph system.
