About Cannonball Run

"The Most Beautiful Race Course in Delaware"...The Lewes Historical Society is scheduling the 17th Cannonball 5K Run & Trenny Elliott Memorial Walk on September 11, 2022. This annual event benefits the Society's preservation and educational programming.

Designed to be a tour of historic Lewes, the course includes breath-taking scenery along Pilottown Road and views of the Great Marsh, Shipcarpenter Square, Second Street, and the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal. A description of the historic sites along the race route is included in your registration papers.
