The historic Shipcarpenter Street Campus will come to life, as living maritime historians from throughout the Atlantic Seaboard, inhabit the property, depicting the maritime and naval industries during the past three centuries. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with interpreters and learn about the hardships and lives of sailors ashore and afloat, through demonstrations of traditional maritime trades.
The streets of downtown Lewes will be inhabited by sailors participating in vignettes and demonstrations that will take place throughout the day.
Tickets are $5 (children 12 and under free).
