Kick off the holiday season at the Lewes Historical Society's Holiday Village & Market at 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes.

Do your holiday shopping with talented artists* at the Market and local specialty food vendors, including Story Hill Farm, Baybees Honey, Backyard Jams & Jellies, Clare Shockley's Nut Brittles, Four Acres Farm, and Brittingham Farm. The tradition continues with LHS's Greenery & Decorations Sale in the Barn, interaction with historic interpreters, and enjoying the decorated historic campus and buildings. Don't miss spending time with our alpaca visitors from Four Acres Farm in Frankford, DE, and Charlie the Sheep from Brittingham Farms in Millsboro!

The tradition continues with LHS's Greenery & Decorations Sale in the Barn, interaction with historic interpreters, and enjoying the decorated historic campus and buildings. 

Visit the recently opened Coffee & Tea House, located on campus to sample a hot chocolate recipe from the 1700s and enjoy a selection of coffees and teas. Across the path, and housed in the Sussex Tavern you will be encouraged to play traditional period games while interacting with interpreters, and if "of age" try the hot cider!

Award-winning chili will be served until it is all gone, so come early!
