Research work resulting in the production of the recent "Voices Heard '' documentary film has allowed the opportunity to a shine light on the facts surrounding the institution of slavery in Southern Delaware, experienced by many ancestors. This lecture has the goal to enlighten, interest, and encourage audiences to learn more so that this difficult history is not overlooked, ignored, or purposefully hidden.
