Lewes Historical Society’s 2020 Summer Craft Fair

Thank you for your interest in participating in The Lewes Historical Society’s Summer Craft Fair. This 1-day outdoor event will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at the Lewes Historical Society campus located at 110 Shipcarpenter St.  Lewes, DE 19958. 

The event will run 9am until 4pm (rain or shine), and is well known for its high-quality vendors, historic location and festive atmosphere. The event charges a $5.00 admission fee - children under 12 are free, and all proceeds benefit educational and preservation programs of the Lewes Historical Society. 


Application Rules & Policies 

  1. All work must be original, created by the self-representing artist. No manufactured goods will be accepted. Demonstrations are encouraged, but not required.

  2. Acceptable categories include:  Ceramics/pottery, decorative & wearable fiber, glass, jewelry, wood, sculpture, painting, photography and mixed media.

  3. Artists must be present during the event. No representatives. 

  4. We will do our best to  accommodate booth location requests but we can not guarantee specific spaces for vendors. 

  5. No power will be provided at the venue so please come prepared. Internet is available but not guaranteed.

  6. Booth spaces are 10' x 10' and will be assigned once accepted. One exhibitor per space please with no subletting. 

  7. All vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, tents, chairs, linens, etc. No electricity, water hook-ups, props or tables are available onsite. 

  8. A completed application will consist of the following items. 

Please note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

  1. A completed online application.

  2. 4 clear photos of your work. Any photos submitted with a previous application will not be brought forward for this application. 

  3. Exhibitor fee payment of $150.00. Any vendors who are not selected will be refunded 100% of their payment. There is no application fee required.


Our Mission: The Lewes Historical Society promotes and advocates the preservation, interpretation and cultural enrichment of the Lewes region, through museum exhibits, educational programs, historical research, and publications.
