Friday July 7, at 4:00pm, at Hotel Rodney: Kim Burdick presents, "Revolutionary Delaware".   Lecture and book signing.

Presentation Description:
In 1776, Delaware declared independence from both England and Pennsylvania. The First State was instrumental in the fight to form a new republic. Citizens from every village, town, crossroads and marsh risked their lives to support their beliefs. Author Kim Burdick offers the carefully documented story of ordinary people coping with extraordinary circumstances. After the conclusion of the lecture there will be a buying opportunity and an author signing of this book.

Speaker Bio:
Kim Burdick is an award-winning public historian as well as Curator of the historic Hale Byrnes House. Kim is a graduate of the Cooperstown Graduate Programs and of the College of Urban Affairs at the University of Delaware.
