Chocolate originally found its place in the Colonial era culture of the American Revolution. It's popularity took it through the Second World War, into the present day - with possible scientific applications for the future. Audience members will view a demonstration of the 18th-century chocolate making process using period methods. Demonstrations will be conducted by Lewes Historical Society living history characters. Delight your senses with the touch, smell, and finally, a sample taste of an 18th-century drinking chocolate.
