Scope & Content Notes –

Jack W. Hill was a light keeper on the Delaware during the early to mid part of the twentieth century; Mr. Hill also served in the United States Coast Guard. He developed a close relationship with Dr. James E. Marvil and his collection came to the Society through that relationship. The collection includes correspondence and photographs.

Appraisal & Arrangement Notes –

Both appraisal and arrangement were conducted March through April, 2002. No materials were discarded. There was no apparent original order and a superficial hierarchy was imposed (please see container list, below).
