Lewes is a quaint historic town located in coastal Sussex County, Delaware. Lewes is within easy driving distance of major metropolitan areas. With its wealth of historical sites, museums, unique shops, restaurants and pristine beaches, Lewes is an exciting destination for all travelers.
The Lewes Seafaring Days is a fund-raising event for the Lewes Historical Society with a $3.00 admission fee. This is the second-annual event.
There are approximately 25 booths available. Booths are 10’ x 20’ and are allotted upon confirmation of acceptance with preference given to former exhibitors. One exhibitor per space is allowed with no subletting. Tables, chairs and protection from the elements (rain & sun) are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Lewes Seafaring Days is RAIN OR SHINE.
Setup begins at 6:00 AM to be completed by 9:00 AM. Vehicles are to be removed from the Complex by 9:00 AM. Nearby parking is available for all dealers. Outside food vendors are prohibited and dealers shall not sell food or drink of any kind. No packing until 4:00 PM. The Historic Complex is nationally recognized for its beauty; please remove all trash from the site when you leave. Tents and tables ONLY may be set up beginning at 4:00 PM the day before the show. NO ANTIQUES, ART, ETC., MAY BE LEFT ON THE PREMISES OVERNIGHT. NO VEHICLES MAY BE LEFT OVERNIGHT. TABLES AND/OR TENTS LEFT ARE LEFT AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you are planning on renting tables, etc., and having them delivered to the Society, please let us know so we can have them placed in a safe location. The Lewes Historical Society is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from any materials left overnight, by attendees, etc. During the show, booths must be staffed at all times.
