Lewes is a quaint historic town located in coastal Sussex County, Delaware. Lewes is within easy driving distance of major metropolitan areas. With its wealth of historical sights, museums, unique shops, restaurants and pristine beaches, Lewes is an exciting destination for art buyers.
The Fine Art Show & Sale is held at the Children's Beach House on Lewes Beach.. A preview reception is held on Friday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with wine and hors d'oeuvres served. Saturday show hours are from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Sunday show hours are from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Artists must be present at the reception and accompany their work both days. All exhibit spaces are heated and electrical outlets are provided. Exhibiting artists must provide their own display panels and lighting. Each artist will have approximately twelve (12) linear feet of display space up to six (6) feet high. Three (3) images of your work must be submitted with this application.
The Lewes Historical Society will not collect a commission and exhibiting artists are responsible for their own sales.
This application is due by November 15, 2007; The Lewes Historical Society Fine Art Show & Sale is a juried show.
