With a history dating back to 1609, the Lewes area is rich in history and the Society's archives many important pieces and collections. During this project, the intern will work in the archives and library of the Society cataloging and processing collections. Experience with computers and scanning equipment is preferred. Ultimately, this research and inventory will be published by The Lewes Historical Society. At the end of the summer, the intern will present a paper to the Executive Director detailing his or her experience and research.
No stipend for this internsip is guaranteed. The Society will ensure living arrangements for the intern in Lewes.
